Hmm. Grayzone I think is shady as hell with their denialism of human rights abuses. Electronic Intifada is solid tho. Annoying that they're conflating the two outlets...

Just one little note. Box cutters can do a great deal of damage to a woman's breast. I once had a job in a "hotel-residence." I started my shift at 12 am. Many of the "tenants" were sex workers, but the hotel was their "home" and very seldom were their "clients", for lack of a better word, brought to the hotel. The hotel has 12 stories, but there were several apartments on the first floor. I arrived one noght to ssome horrendous screaming. "what's going on?" I asked the swing shift." I don't know, not my business," he said. I knew the screaming was coming from Nikki's room, and I jumped over the desk and grabbed the master key and rushed to the room. Nikki was naked, but the man with her was not, but he had been made several fine cuts to her breasts with a box cutter. Tanya is quite correct, he hadn't cut them off, but he had done a great deal of damage. But he was able to cut out one eye, and that was much more horrifying. Since the room was on the first floor he threw himself through the window which was already opened and I didn't have to deal with him and concentrated on covering her as best I could and calling an ambulance. I didn't bother with the police because, although I didn't really see the man too well, he had been wearing what had appeared to be a police uniform.
