Violent crime absolutely declined under Boudin’s tenure. The baseline should be the year before he took office, which is 2019, not 2020, which is his first year in office and was peculiar in many ways due to the Covid epidemic. I am happy to share the data with you if you like. But by both the SFPD dashboard and FBI published crime statistics, overall violent crime was down.
